2021 Topps Merlin Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards Checklist

Release date: July 21, 2021

Hey there, card collectors! Let's dive into the 2020-21 Topps Merlin UEFA collection, an exciting return that brings the beloved chromium finish to Champions League and Europa League stars. This set is bringing back some serious nostalgia, taking inspiration from the 1996 Merlin design while adding that modern chrome touch we've come to love. What makes this release special is how it captures both the legends and rising stars of European football in that eye-catching chrome finish. Each Hobby box promises one autograph, plus you've got a rainbow of refractor parallels to chase after. The base set features 100 cards, and believe me, when these catch the light, they're something else. Whether you're a long-time collector who remembers the original Merlin cards or new to the hobby, this set offers something for everyone. The inserts are particularly interesting, with sets like Ageless Alchemy showing off those players who seem to get better with age, and the U-23 cards giving us a glimpse at football's future stars. It's straightforward collecting with enough variety to keep things interesting - exactly what you want in a modern football card set. The autograph checklist includes some impressive names from both competitions, making each box opening a potential treasure hunt for something special.
